Safety is one of the major concerns in aviation industries. The high expectation of all fliers is the high level of safety for passengers and it is primary reason for traffic growth in aviation industry.

Flight FZ 8018 was scheduled to fly to Dubai International Airport with 153 passengers, however, one of the pilots of the flying crew was texted positive to alcohol text. As a result of this the passengers were delayed for several hours to arrange for another 
flying crew.
Aviation safety means the state of an aviation system or organization in which risks associated with aviation activities, related to, or in direct support of the operation of aircraft, are reduced and controlled to an acceptable level. It encompasses the theory, practice, investigation, and categorization of flight failures, and the prevention of such failures through regulation, education, and training. It can also be applied in the context of campaigns that inform the public as to the safety of air travel.
In a simple language, aviation safety is the research or study and practice of regulating or managing risks in aviation. It has to do with preventing any form of aviation accidents, through education or training the passengers, air travel personnel etc., it ability to keep both passengers and flight crew safe while traveling by air.
